Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our innovative team and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the mlHealth 360 AI-powered medical imaging platform and its suite of diagnostic solutions. This pivotal role is responsible for leveraging secure, cloud-native Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies to transform radiology workflows, improve diagnostic accuracy, and enhance healthcare efficiency globally.

As the Product Manager, you will be the bridge between our clinical users (Radiologists, Technologists), our data science/engineering teams, and the business strategy. Your focus will be on defining the lifecycle of AI models within a clinical setting, ensuring seamless integration with hospital systems (PACS/HIS), and maintaining strict regulatory and data privacy compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FDA clearance).

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy specifically for AI/ML products in medical imaging (CT/MRI), aligned with clinical needs and the regulatory landscape.
  • Define and prioritize AI features (e.g., segmentation, anomaly detection, structured reporting) and core platform features based on clinical validity, market opportunity, and competitive analysis.
  • Own the roadmap of the platform, ensuring it provides a comprehensive, cloud-based infrastructure for managing patient data, imaging studies, and diagnostic workflows securely and efficiently for radiologists.

Market Analysis & Research

  • Conduct market research on diagnostic imaging trends, competitive radiology AI solutions, and customer needs from radiologists, technologists, and hospital administrators.

Product Development

  • Create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for both the AI diagnostic models and the core platform features.
  • Oversee and ensure seamless interoperability by defining requirements for integration with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS), specifically focusing on DICOM, HL7 ORM/ORU Messaging, and FHIR compatibility.
  • Manage the delivery of a cloud-agnostic, secure, and scalable platform that integrates into a radiologist’s daily workflow with minimal disruption.

Operational Activities

  • Manage the product backlog and write detailed user stories, focusing on data quality, model performance, and clinical workflow integration within core platform.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with clinical teams, regulatory affairs, sales, and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies that clearly communicate the clinical utility, performance metrics, and workflow benefits.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the AI products and the core platform for both internal stakeholders and external clinical partners.

Product Launch & Management

  • Plan and execute product launches, coordinating messaging around the evidence base, clinical benefits, and technical architecture of the cloud-native AI solutions.
  • Monitor product performance post-launch, tracking KPIs related to clinical impact, workflow efficiency, model robustness, and financial return.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and issues related to the product.
  • Develop strategies for customer engagement and ensure that the product delivers value to users.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including roadmaps, release notes, and required technical files for regulatory submissions and post-market surveillance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of product management processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • Expert knowledge of machine learning principles, model validation, and MLOps challenges when deploying high-stakes models in clinical production.
  • Proven ability to define and manage features for a complex enterprise imaging workflow platform.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term product strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong customer orientation with experience in gathering customer feedback and translating it into product features.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate vision, strategies, and product requirements clearly.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
